Description

Trachycarpus fortune is a hardy palm native to cultivation in Japan not seen in the wild. All species are from Asia, spreading from India through Myanmar and Thailand into China.

Trachycarpus Wagnerianus is an easily identified cultivar, with small, stiff leaves.The leaf crown is hemispherical and often extended, especially in younger individuals. New growth is margined with a short but dense white woolly tomentum.
