Scientific and Historical Insights

Bamboo belongs to the Poaceae family and is classified under the subfamily Bambusoideae. Its unique structure allows it to withstand strong winds and heavy rains, making it a popular choice in regions prone to natural disasters. Historically, bamboo has been used for thousands of years in Asia for construction, crafts, and even medicine, showcasing its versatility and importance in various cultures.

From an environmental perspective, bamboo plays a crucial role in combating climate change.
