The plant will grow as its surrounds allow, ranging from about a metre high in exposed conditions to two metres in shady, sheltered conditions. The leaves are soft, covered in a light hair, with a slightly blue hue to their green.

Planting and care
Nip off the growing tips during spring and the early part of summer to increase bushiness and flowers. After the shrub has flowered, cut back hard, then prune or tip periodically to ensure neat, compact growth.
