Interesting Fact: Leaves are borne from a central, funnel-shaped rosette of fuzzy, brown wool where the emerging fronds resemble birds eggs, giving the plant its common name.

The fern, which grows at the base of large branches, has a unique ability to trap water and develop its own store of humus. Epiphytic fern having a stout and erect rhizome, bearing a rosette of leaves at the top. Leaf stalks are stout and almost black, leaf length can be up to 150 cm or more and up to 20 cm wide. It narrows gradually, tapering both towards the pointed tip and towards the base. Spores are light brown, transparent when fresh.

Sunlight:

    2. Dig a pit twice the size of the bag/pot the current plant is in.
    3. Fill the 1/3 of pit with soil rich in organic content, place the plant in center and fill the pit with same soil.
    4. Apply water. General caring tips- Plant should get indirect bright light. Water the plant when surface soil (1-2 inch) feels dry to touch. Apply any organic fertilizer during the main growing season (June July).

    I loved the packaging. The pink syngonium plant that I got was infected. But because of separate packaging, the remaining plants are healthy. After I complained about the plant that was infected, they quickly sent me a second package with four healthy plants. It's been over a month now and all of the plants are well. (The syngonium that is infected hasn't died but it's not yet fully recovered I'm trying to save it). The pots are tiny, cute and excellent quality. Very pleased with purchase.
