    You can propagate Thimble cactus by using offsets. Thimble Cactus will produce small offsets, stemming off in clumps around the main tubercles. You can remove the offsets easily and allow the offset to dry for several days before replanting. Choose a pot having of 3-inch upper diameter and drainage holes. Fill the 1/3 pot with well-drained soil rich in organic content and place the offsets in the center of the pot. Fill the remaining pot with same soil. Keep the plant in indirect bright light location for 2-3 days and then gradually move to a location that receives 4-6 hours of direct sunlight.
