Description

Medicinal herb is known for its significant medicinal value. All parts of the plant are used to treat various diseases.

A small weed, subshrub, branchlets glabrous. Leaves are paripinnate, with subulate glands between the leaflets. Flowers with terminal racemes, corymbose; Sepals 5, oblong to rounded. Petals 5, yellow.

Seed is Hard, 1 cm long, 3 to 4 mm thick, oblong or rhombohedral, both ends appear as if cut off obliquely, greenish-brown to brownish-black, smooth and shiny. Flowering season August to November. Plants used to cure Asthma / Shvasa,Constipation / Vibandha. Diseases due to vitiation of Vata and Kapha / Kaphavatajanya Vikara. Eczema / Pama. Intestinal parasites.
