How to plant Gloxinia bulbs?

Select well-draining and nutrient-rich soil. You can grow them in the pot or directly in the soil. Select an appropriate location. Gloxinia bulbs prefer 4-6 hrs of Natual bright light. Dig a hole up to 2-3 inch and Set the bulb in the hole pointy side up or the roots down. after planting backfill with soil over the hole, lightly compress the soil but do not pack it and water. There is no need to water continuously, water it when the upper layer of soil (3-4inch)feels dry to touch.

When to plant Gloxinia bulbs?

You can plant Gloxinia bulbs in the spring season(Februry-March).

Can Gloxinia be planted outside?

Yes, you can plant Gloxinia outdoor where it will get 4-6 hrs of Natual bright light or indirect bright light but need to be protected from full sunlight in the summer.

How to plant Gloxinia seeds?

To grow plant through seed consider the following points
1. Use a pot having a 6-inch upper diameter and drainage holes.
2. Fill the pot with well-drained soil. To sow seeds make a hole about 1/2 inch in soil, place seeds in it, cover with soil and apply water.
3. Maintain the moisture in the soil by applying water if soil in pot (3-4 inch) feels dry to touch.
4. Keep the pot at a location receiving indirect bright light. Seeds will germinate within a week.
