Planting and care
- Water a plant when the soil feels dry to touch
- Water thoroughly in the summer and reduce watering for the winter & rainy season

- Plant Ixia bulbs in early winter or late summer
- Plant the bulbs in well-drained, moderately fertile soil in full sun or partial shade
- Before planting, loosen the soil and add compost in the soil to increase its fertility
- Plant the bulbs 2 inches deep and a minimum of 4 inches apart
- Set the bulb in the hole with the pointy end up
- After planting cover the bulb with soil and water thoroughly
