Description
Indian Whitehead is a perennial herb growing up to 40 cm tall, with 4-angled stems. Leaves are narrow-oblong, lance-shaped. Leaf apex rounded or occasionally subacute Leaf blade gradually tapering to an acuminate apex. Stalkless white flowers are borne in dense clusters in leaf axils. The capsule is 2.5 mm to 4.5 mm.
The bitter-tasting plant is used as a laxative, stomachic and tonic.Plant Specifications
