Description
Clematis triloba is a medicinal plant. The leaf of the plant was used in folk remedies for treating cancers and tumors, as well as for itching, fever.
It is an extensive climber with 1 to 2 Leaves in silky small simple or one-ternate, entire or elliptic-ovate or cordate. Flowers are white & sepals are spreading from the base, membranous, oblong, silky outside. Fruits are with a long feathery style.
The juice of the leaves, combined with that of the leaves of Holarrhena antidysenterica, is dropped into the eye for the relief of pain in staphyloma; about 2 drops being used. The whole plant is a purgative. It is said to be used as a remedy in leprosy, blood diseases, and fever.Plant Specifications
