Description
It is a perennial herbaceous flowering plant. This is also used to treat various other diseases such as rheumatism, chronic nephritis, ringworm, leprosy, and scabies.
It is a small glabrous perennial herb. Plants grow from bulbs. Leaves are borne in racemes on a leafless stem, linear, nearly flat, apex acute. Individual flowers are bell-shaped. Flowers are greenish-white, brownish or purplish, drooped, bracts minute, pedicels, slender, perianth campanulate, oblong-lanceolate, obtuse.
Fruits are a capsule, ellipsoidal or oblong, tapering to both ends. Seeds are black, shaped like flattened ellipsoids.Plant Specifications
