Description
Shankhapushpi (Convolvulus pluricaulis) is a perennial herb and consider as a most wonderful gift of nature to the mankind, it looks like morning glory with blue flowers situated at alternate positions with flowers or branches.
Convolvulus pluricaulis is an herb found in India and Burma that is used in Ayurveda. The Ayurveda preparation shankapushpi is, according to most sources, identical with Convolvulus pluricaulis, but some say shankapushpi is Clitoria ternatea.

Planting and care
plant care is not difficult but does require vigilance. The vines need to be trained early when they are young. You may use plant ties or just weave them through trellis sections. Fertilize the plant in spring just before new growth appea Pinch off the tips of the vines in the second year to promote branching which will fill the trellis with bushy growth.
