Description
It is an evergreen, medium-sized tree. The plant is used for cure fractured bones in Ayurvedic medicine, where they are ground into a paste with some other medicinal herbs.
Medium size tree and twigs covered with rusty stellate pubescence. Leaves are irregularly oblong, subcordate, rounded or oblique, apex acuminate, irregularly serrate; petiole rusty tomentose. Flowers yellowish white, fragrant, axillary and terminal, 1 to 3 flowered peduncles; bracteoles linear. Capsule terete, oblong tapering.
The plant is used for cure fractured bones in Ayurvedic medicine. They are used for treating hemicrania, cephalalgia, pharyngitis, inflammations, cough, bronchitis and skin diseases. The flowers made into a paste with rice-water and vinegar is used externally in a migraine. The leaves made into a paste are applied externally in a headache.Plant Specifications
