Indian kino is a large deciduous tree with spreading branches reaching a height of up to 33 mete When growing under favorable conditions, the tree can produce a straight bole. A very valuable timber tree that is often planted by the Indian forestry.
Leaves are compound, alternate; stipules small, Leaflets are alternate, stipulate. Flowers are bisexual, yellow, at branch-ends and in leaf-axils, borne in panicles. Fruit is a pod, round-kidney-shaped, broadly winged seed one, somewhat kidney-shaped. It is used as an astringent and it helps to treat the dental issue like a toothache. Bard and twigs of the Vijaysar tree are also used as a toothbrush. The antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties make it a good ingredient in herbal tooth powder.Plant Specifications
