Description
Pandanus amaryllifolius is a tropical plant in the Pandanus (screw pine) genus, which is commonly known as pandan. It has fragrant leaves which are used widely for flavoring in the cuisines of Southeast Asia and South Asia.
Pandanus is perennial evergreen tree with thin long leaves and emerging spirally from stubby branches. Branches have prominent leaf scars which encircle the stems.
