Description
Annual or perennial herb. The leaves are used as an expectorant in the treatment of asthma and consumption.
It is an erect much branched hairless bushy herb. Leaves are simple, sessile, oppositely arranged & stalkless, linear- lance-shaped. Flower are small white. Flowers are fruits appears from October to December. Fruits are with subglobose capsule & elongate. Seeds are ellipsoid. The whole plant is used in Ayurveda.
