It is a small to medium sized plant, grow up to 5-25 cm in height. The stem is short. Leaves are sessile, broadly lance-like, acuminate and acute, with prominent veins. The plant blooms in summer on an erect, small flowers with terminal raceme, minute, pale-yellowish green, tinged with purple.
