Description
A spectacular, medium to large rainforest tree with a dense, spreading crown of handsome, dark green, glossy foliage and contrasting reddish new growth.
As well as being easy on the eye, the flower is popular with nectar feeding birds, such as parrots and lorikeets. The stamens of the Golden Penda flower can grow to three centimetres long - combine this with its bright yellow colour and you have a real tropical beauty.
The Golden Penda can grow up to 15 metres in height and yields a hard, durable timber, but if pruned annually it can also be contained to shrub size.Plant Specifications
