Description
It is a tree medicinal tree. Its leaves, fruits and stone/seeds are used for medicinal purpose.
The tree grows up to 20 m high, bark dark grey, whitish when young with horizontal lenticels. Leaves simple, alternate, stipule small, lateral. Flowers unisexual, small, yellow; male flowers are sessile, in axillary spikes. female flowers are solitary. Fruit a drupe, ovoid-ellipsoid, white tomentose, seed one, long.
The leaves are also used to treat allergic red pimples on the body. The decoction of leaves is used for treating cold, fever, and rheumatism. Seeds have shown incredible results in treating infertility.Plant Specifications
