Description
It has dark red flowers with an characteristic and unusual appearance. It is widely distributed in Asia.The leaves and stems are covered with soft bristly hairs that are very irritating to the touch. The bark yields a jute-like fiber.
Devil s Cotton is a large spreading shrub, or a small tree, with fibrous bark and irritant hai It grows up to 2.5 m tall with hairy branches. Leaves are ovate-oblong long-pointed, with a heart-shaped base, 10-21 cm long, 5.5-13 cm wide.

Planting and care
Start with pruning shears for smaller growth. Use loppers, which look like giant, long-handle shears, for growth that is more than half an inch thick. A small pruning saw is handy, as it cuts on both the push and the pull.
