Description

Cassia is perennial flowering evergreen tree in Fabaceae family. Low branching and high crown spread, leaves are pinnate with an alternate arrangement. Leaflets are oblong, rounded at the base and at the apex, slightly retuse.

Flowers are in dense racemes at the end of the shoots, and in their axils of with yellow color.

Planting and care

Seeds will germinate more readily if soaked in water for 24 hours or scarified mechanically or in boiling water. Sow shallowly in February or march.
