Description
Eclipta prostrata commonly known as false daisy, yerba de tago, and bhringraj, is a species of plant in the sunflower family. It is widespread across much of the world.

This plant has cylindrical, grayish roots. The achenes are compressed and narrowly winged.

Bhringraj is an important Ayurveda herb, widely used in hair fall treatment, liver disorders, skin diseases etc. Its botanical name is, Eclipta alba. Its whole plant is used for various medicinal purposes.

Planting and care
