Lemon Trees are super easy to grow and generally fruit quickly, even in less-than-stellar climates.
The origin of the lemon is unknown, though lemons are thought to have first grown in Assam. The lemon was first recorded in literature in a 10th-century Arabic treatise on farming and was also used as an ornamental plant in early Islamic gardens.
India is the largest producer of Lemons in the world. However, the size of the lemons is not as big as those of other countries.
The ideal time for growing these lemon trees varieties in India is at the beginning of the monsoon season. But if you’re growing a lemon tree in a pot, you can grow it anytime except in summer from a readily available nursery sapling.
The plants can produce lemons all year round.
