Elephant's ear, commonly known as Alocasia, has huge, intricately patterned leaves. Despite being a large plant, the long, silky stems that emerge from a tuber give it an airy and graceful appearance. Those stems can be plain or have tiger stripes, and the leaf is just as interesting.

Alocasia is a plant that grows in the tropical rainforests of Southeast Asia and belongs to the Arum family. It's very widespread on Borneo, where it can grow to be four metres tall.
