Justicia carnea, with common names including Brazilian plume flower, Brazilian-plume, flamingo flower, and jacobinia is a flowering plant in the family Acanthaceae.The perennial plant is native to the Atlantic Forest ecoregions of eastern Brazil.
It produces a never ending show of large spikes of brightly colored, tubular flowers from spring to fall.

Planting and care
Jacobina should be grown on rich, well drained soil that receives ample moisture in a location shaded from full-day.
