Climbers / Creepers Plant Seeds
About Climbers / Creepers Plant Seeds
Both climber and creeper are weak stemmed plants hence they cannot grow erect without support. The difference is that the creeper grow horizontally along the soil and at the nodal region where leaves grow they produce fibre like roots arising from the base of the stem which get fixed and grow further whereas climber take a support of an object to climb.
Some of the climber and creeper plant seeds like Portulaca, Rangoon creeper, Money plant, Passiflora, etc are used to cover and decorate garden fences, trellises, arbors and arches in gardens. They are very easy to grow and will provide decor to your area for a long time adding a richness and depth to any garden space.
These plants can be the best example in any garden particularly if you want to hide a wall or any old structure. They provide a thin layer of insulation on walls, which means they help retain heat in the winter and they keep walls cooler in the summer, which reduces home heating and cooling costs. Sometimes an ordinary potted plant is not enough to pretty up the house so these plants will fill up the space.
