Phalaenopsis known as moth orchids, abbreviated Phal in the horticultural trade, is an orchid genus of approximately 60 species. Phalaenopsis is one of the most popular orchids in the trade, through the development of many artificial hybrids. It is native to southern China, Taiwan, the Indian Subcontinent, Southeast Asia.

Planting and care
Too much bright light can burn the leaves and turn the plants yellowish while too little will result in plants with soft leaves that don t flower.Repot after flowering. Don t over pot; wash the old compost from the roots before working the new compost gently and firmly around the roots.
