Roystonea regia, commonly known as the Cuban royal palm, Florida royal palm, or simply the royal palm is a species of palm which is native to southern Florida, Mexico and parts of Central America and the Caribbean.

Planting & Care
Collect your royal palm seeds as soon as they drop from the tree. Seal those you re not ready to plant in an airtight plastic container or a plastic food storage bag. Store them out of direct light at room temperature for up to a month.

Care:

  • Put on some work gloves to clean your royal palm tree fruits because the pulpy flesh that encases the seed contains a skin irritant.
  • Use a sharp, clean knife to remove the flesh.
  • Rub the seed vigorously with your fingers under cold running water to remove any remaining pulp or flesh.
