The most important part of Z. zerumbet is its rhizomes, which have been associated with all the claimed medicinal uses. The rhizome of Z. zerumbet, which is perennial, thick, scaly, aromatic, and pale yellow internally (Figure 3), is used exclusively by this obligates asexual reproducer plant for propagation.

Planting & Care
