Tecoma is an erect, scrambling shrub, it grows to 2,3 m in height and a similar width. Normally evergreen, it may lose its leaves in colder climates. The leaves are long and are opposite, slightly serrated, green to dark-green.The flowers are tubular, narrow, about 7.5 cm long, and are produced at different times throughout the year. They are grouped in 10,15 cm long terminal cluste The flower color ranges from orange to orange-red to apricot.Tecoma is an ornamental garden plant commonly used for screening and decorative purposes. Sunlight

  • Morning sunlight of 3-6 hours a day is ideal for flowering and plant grow well in bright light for rest of the day.

  • The soil should be well drained, fertile and rich in organic content for growing Tecoma plant.

    2.Fill the 1/3 pot with well-drained soil rich in organic content and place the plant in the center of the pot.
    3. Fill the remaining pot with same soil.
    4. Keep the plant in indirect bright light location for 2-3 days and then gradually move to a location that receives 4-6 hours of direct sunlight.
    5. Once the plant is overgrown in current pot, plant it in field. If you are planting purchased plants directly in ground follow the below procedure.
    1. Keep the plant in indirect bright light for 3-4 days and gradually move to a location receiving direct sunlight for 4-6 hours a day.
