Gowar is used as a vegetable, dry pod, foliage crop. It can be cultivated for green manure because of Gowar plantation is increasing the subsequent crop yields.
Planting and care
Plough the field to fine tilth and form ridges and furrows at 45 cm apart. Seeds can be sow directly in the field or pot. Seedlings are planted 15 cm apart from each other.
