Planting and care
White siris is native to moist deciduous and semi-evergreen hill forests, swamp forests, and lowland savanna woodlands in Asia from northern India through southeast Asia. Albizia silk trees need a little space to accommodate their arching habit, so be sure to plan for this accordingly when planting. Roots like to spread out as well, so it is wise not to plant this tree close to a sidewalk or other cement patio where it could cause disruption.
|Full sun to part shade||Loams or clays but can tolerate shallow, dry, stony, and sandy soils||Medium||1-18 degrees C to 37-46 degrees C||Apply any organic fertilizer|
