The Aglaonema is a highly decorative plant with several interesting varieties. The lighter the variegation, the more light it needs.
There are many hybrid varieties of the Chinese evergreen available which have been cultivated over the last century. This is because of their increasing popularity for indoor growers to use them as ornamental plants for room decoration.

Common name: Chinese evergreen
Color: The plant do not have distinguished flower and the plant displays Red texture
Height: 8 inches to 4 ft
Difficulty level: Easy

Planting & Care
Because of their high humidity requirements, some growers consider aglaonema to be greenhouse plants. It s true they will do best in the warm, humid and bright environment of a greenhouse, but they can successfully be grown indoors by coming as close as possible to these conditions.

The number one rule to remember with aglaonema is this: keep them warm and moist. If you do this, you ll be rewarded with a long-lasting, stable house plant that will not soon outgrow its pot.

Sunlight: Near shade to partial sun.

Soil: A well-drained potting soil is perfect.

Water: Water thoroughly in the summer, and mist often to raise humidity. During the winter, reduce watering but do not let the plant dry completely. Seek to raise humidity in general.

Temprature: They do not like cold drafts or temperatures below 65ºF. The warmer, the better.

Fertilizer: Slow-release pellets or liquid fertilizer during the growing season.

Care:
  • They are slow growing and will only need repotting every other year.
  • Aglaonema are generally low-growing plants that will only very gradually reveal their trunks.
  • Aglaonema is prone to stem rot and root rot if over-watered.
  • This is especially true if your Aglaonema is in low light.
  • The light your plant receives is the biggest factor in determining the watering of your Aglaonema.

Use
Ornamental use:
  • Perhaps one of the greatest benefits of aglaonema is the fact this plant can be planted in pots and places outdoors to give a tropical look to your garden in summer and decorate your indoor space in winter.
