Oriental Lilies Bulbs
About Oriental Lilies Bulbs
Everyone loves oriental lilies. With large, showy blooms, lilies add striking elegance to the yard and garden from early to midsummer. Grown from bulbs, lilies are perennial flowers that will return year after year and require minimal care, if you grow them in a right place.
Oriental lilies are famous for their strong fragrance. They are tall (4 feet), and tend to grow more slowly, often blooming about the time when Asiatic lily flowers are fading. Bulbous plants thrive under adverse conditions such as poor soil or shade, and are therefore well suited to use in a garden.
The oriental lilies make excellent landscaping additions for late summer color in the garden. Their blooms work as great cut flowers making them perfect in flower arrangements. Cut stems as the lily flowers open in the early morning when still cool. Just a few stems will make a beautiful bouquet.
