An extraction of this herb is sweet in taste and is called Manna. Manna has been mentioned in the Quran and Bible for its religious Significance. It is a laxative in nature and hence is found useful in treating gastrointestinal diseases. It also acts as an expectorant, and help to keep the body hydrated. It also possesses antibacterial properties and is rich in antioxidants.

Planting and care

An accurate soil test will tell you where your pH currently stands.
