About Chincherinchee Bulbs
Chincherinchee is a highly-rated and well-loved cut flower. The spikes bear dense clusters of snow-white stellate flowers, which open gradually from the bottom to the top. Chincherinchee will brighten up your garden. In spring, you can plant your Chincherinchee in either the ground or in a flower pot.
When planting the bulbs, make sure that the depth of the hole is twice as large as the height of the bulb. They bloom individually in circles carried at the top of leafless stems. Chincherinchee is a perennial herb, with round bulbs that bloom in the late summer. This flower bulb prefers a full sun position in well-drained soil.
Ideal as a cut flower they have a long vase life. Showy plant with beautiful large long-lasting flowers, ideal for growing in pots. The bulbs are ovoid with free or co crescent scales. These are white or off-white with green or brown shading in the centre, which fades over time. Chincherinchee are quick to multiply so they are ideal for garden borders and pots.
