Description for Chrysanthemum Alaska (White)
Leucanthemum x superbum is the scientific name of this plant and is a hybrid. The flowers, with the classic white rays and yellow center. It blooms for 3 Weeks or More. It has rigid stems which do not require staking. Features 3" diameter single flower heads.
Planting and care
Sow in the late winter to late Spring or Late Summer to Autumn. Sow the seeds indoors then transfer them outdoor. Use peaty compost with vermiculite. Germination may occur between 21 to 35 days. Prick out the seedlings and gradually acclimatize to outdoor conditions for 10 to 15 days before planting out. Keep spacing of 20 to 24 inches.
